Project Everwood

The Vision

Project Everwood was designed to breathe new life into a kitchen that no longer felt connected to the rest of the home. The homeowners loved their home’s warmth and character, but the outdated green cabinets and old tile flooring caused the kitchen to feel separated from the surrounding spaces. Their vision was to create a kitchen that felt brighter, more welcoming, and cohesive with the rest of the home while still maintaining a timeless and comfortable atmosphere.

To bring that vision to life, the existing cabinets were completely transformed with custom shaker style doors and drawer fronts, giving the kitchen a cleaner and more refined appearance. The cabinetry was then finished in a fresh gray tone that instantly brightened the space while creating a modern yet timeless feel. To further open the kitchen and improve the overall atmosphere, recessed lighting was carefully added throughout the ceiling, allowing light to flow more naturally across the room and making the entire space feel larger and more inviting.

A beautiful new countertop was installed to elevate the overall design while adding durability and functionality for everyday living. To introduce texture and visual interest, a carefully selected backsplash was added, bringing warmth, depth, and detail to the kitchen without overwhelming the space. One of the most important elements of the remodel was creating continuity throughout the home. The old kitchen flooring was replaced and matched seamlessly with the existing flooring in the surrounding areas, allowing the kitchen to finally feel connected and unified with the rest of the house.

The result is a kitchen that feels timeless, functional, and full of life. Project Everwood transformed an outdated and disconnected space into the true heart of the home where warmth, comfort, and everyday living come together effortlessly.
